You should know: I will deal with you as best I can, do what I think is right and fair, but if you won't work with me, if you decide that I should be held in disdain for some reason, I have to assume you are a lost cause, and to me you're no longer a personality; you're just a force of nature.
Lunch today was potatoes, aspiration, red pearl onions, and corn on the cob. Very autumn. DVDs arrived today from Netflix: Millennium, Dead Like Me, Firefly.
Oh, and bread. I had bread with lunch. I don't respect forces of nature, but I don't hate them either. You can't torture the wind. I like the way my fingers smell after I've chopped onions. Joke: why do people go camping? Camping is stupid. Sleep outside in a sleeping BAG? It's like being homeless. That's what the homeless are: Urban Campers. Friends dropped off a dog while they where at Burning Man. When I took it for walks, sometimes it would find a smell it wanted to rub in, and would totally spazz out, scratching its back into the grass. After it got done, it would shake the grass bits off, in that way dogs shake. It was a very satisfying sound, as if it summed the whole enjoyable experience. I write these things in Microsoft Word, so I can use the spell checker. Is there? There should be: a continuum: Coke Dr. Pepper, A&W…. I'm not sure where Mr. Pibb would fall, maybe just to the right of Dr. Pepper? And Fanta? Shoot… way over to the right. Although my face is literally 2 feet away from this DVD player, I am using a remote control. Earlier I was writing e-mails, playing CoH, and watching Alias at the same time. I'm not sure I recall what I did or did not say here a few days ago.
There's some tribe in some jungle that have two words for hungry: regular have not eaten hungry, and a word for not having eaten meat in a long time. Had a chai latte after the chiro today. I cry pretty much every time I see an episode of Dead Like Me. Posting this a day after I wrote on it. Feels… unfinished. Previous Entry | Archive Index | Current Blog | Next Entry |
