A Heading Is Meaningless If It's The Only One
Great quote from Robert Sapolsky's Essay "Nature or Nurture? 'The 50 Most Beautiful People in the World' Assess The Source of Their Good Looks" in his book Monkeyluv: "just around the time of her career where most personal handlers would be convincing her that it's time for an image-burnishing trip to a Sudanese refugee camp as a special UN envoy, [Britney Spears] is instead neurobiology's greatest teaching tool for demonstrating that the frontal coretx of the brain does not come fully online until around age thirty."

Posted 9/9 Zui on 9/12.

Bought a few books today: Lunar Park and Monkeyluv.

April made level 33.

Wrote 9/9's Zui on 9/9.

Also bought "Alias" Season 3.

Netflixed "Family Guy" and "The Kids in the Hall."

Didn't see Emily or go to the aquarium this weekend.

Finished reading Jingo.

Learned a new card game: Burraco.

Did some stand-up up last night.

Look at these awesomely short Zui entries.

Bowling starts tonight.

Biggest laugh from last night (Zui'd a few days ago): "Joined a kickball team, and that's stupid, 'cause no one likes me. I caught the ball, right? And this girl behind me keeps yelling, 'Second base! Second base!" So turned around and grabbed her boobs. She gets mad, slaps me, now I'm off the team."

Life with GF means more morning driving for me, and as such, I listen to Howard Stern.

Have you clicked on the blogo above, to see the archive of blogos? I am rather proud of today's.

Burraco might be Buraco.

Yes, I'm the ultraviolet light that is altering some of the deoxyribonucleic acid strands in the meme "Zuihitsu," via these abbreviations.

You'd think I'd try to zui-up some stuff that would make it easy to add images.

They made some really damn fine Mai-tai's at Liquid Lounge last night.

Favorite part of my GF? Today: her cheeks.

Wikipedia coughed up some excellent stuff for me today: Terry Pratchett, Homestar Runner, Cecil Adams, DNA.

Good ol' debate about the textual condition of the bible, and specifically the Gospels, on the forums of my CoH supergroups homepage.

There's only so many aspects that one can manage before resorting to cataloging along lines of similarity. And then those mini-cats fold on top of themselves, and eventually, it only takes the subtlest nuance to fascinate a connoisseur. This is the nature of mathematical chaos. Don't know what I mean? Investigate porn.

There is a squeek in my desk chair, and If I sit very still, my heartbeat shakes the chair enough to make it squeek.

Everything written above this was written two days ago. Or three. What's today?

In a footnote about Munchausen's By Proxy, Sapolsky describes Borderline Personality Disorder. This explains so much, I am a bit amazed.

Bowled Monday. Teammate finished with a 137 and I said as a joke I would have to finish with a 138. Finished with a 138.

Watched the last disc of Firefly. I am sad it's no longer a show, but excited about the film.

Karaoke Revolution 4 comes out November 8th.

Screw this, I'm publishing.
