The Blog is Back
Yes indeed. Here I am. I have decided to seek the services of a webhosting service, on which I signed up today. You have any problems, blame BlueHost.com.
I have to give absolute props to my previous web hostess. Life issues have been keeping her away from reinstating me to webiness, and since it was free, and had been since I don't know when, a loooooooooong time ago, I have 0 complaints. And if she ever comes back and wants me, I would be thrilled to return. But for now, here I am, ready to bore the ever-lovin' crap out of you.
I'm going to keep thing simple, I think. I'll eventually get around to loading some of the old content, the silly Photoshopped pictures, the Fake News, the various this-that-and the other. And of course the archive. Also I'm going back to MySpace and copying all of the entries I made there and archiving them here. I bet you can't wait.
Anyhoo... if you are reading this not on Tuesday and couldn't even see this on Tuesday it's because when re-pointing the name servers to my new location, it can take time. So thanks for hanging in there.

I'm in Class Right Now
I'm in class, first day of the second quarter of the CCNA course. The teacher's not here. But I am! Yes I am, and I figured out how to update my blog from within class. I'm like all virtual and stuff. I mean I can update the webpage on the go! Aren't you lucky! Okay maybe not. I am the lucky one, you're the ones who have to suffer through the boredom of watching someone else have fun. Of course, I can't always be sure I'm on a computer with the other tools I like to use, such Adobe Photoshop, and I can't "test" the page before I upload it since all my native files and file structure is on my home PC. But for quick little updates and fixes, this should be fine and dandy.
Yes, yawn. Got lots to do. Lots to talk about. Lots to reload back onto the website again. Let's hope WoW doesn't kill my minor investment too much.
Happy Anniversary, GF!
Should mention that me and the GF have been together, officially, 1 year today. And tomorrow-- we celebrate our anniversary over the course of two days. The first day is the fun day and the second day is the romantic day. Sure, romance and fun do not have to be mutually exclusive. But in terms of gifts, I like to give the silly toys and games on the first day and the romantic gifts and candlelit dinners on the second. Okay, we've only had the one actual anniversary, but there where practice anniversaries when we hit one week, one month, three months, six months, and so forth.
Peace out. Going to go home now.

It's Tough to Blog
The morning is the best time to blog, because that's when thoughts of the previous day are fresh in my mind. Right before work starts to kick into gear, and as well I anticipate the very few people who look at this website will want something new to look at for the day (provided I can do this daily, which the past has shown I can not). But the morning is also the best time to hit the gym. Which I sorely need. It's also the best time to get in a few hours of World of Warcraft. On my server, Proudmoore, it's too early for the North American kids and starts to be too late for the Australian players. But also in the AM is The Stephanie Miller show on am1090, a talk radio program that is starting to become one of my favorites. Alas and woe, what is a guy like me supposed to do? Whine about it on a blog, that's what. Maybe I'll get some kinda rotation going. Right now, for example—bloggy bloggin, while listening to Michelle Branch, for anyone keeping track.
Anniversary Date
As I said, yesterday was the second day of our 1 year anniversary. Now that it's done, I can tell you what we did: on Wednesday I got the GF some fun gifts, like Chez Greek and Chez Goth (we really enjoy the Chez Geek card games). Also a travel Trivial Pursuit game, and an Andirock baking platter, which is basically a slab of wood for cooking fish and chicken upon inside the oven. And flowers, of course. (Helps that I had loving parents, and I grew up watching my dad buy flowers for my mom.) Thursday was romantic day, so I took her to SkyCity restaurant, that rotating eatery on top of the space needle. Corny? Go ahead, say that, I rather enjoyed it, and so did she—the views where wonderful, and it was nice pointing out places where memories happened together. Also, I gave her a ring—not an engagement ring, or even a promise ring, but a two-tone ring in white and yellow gold, which is very trendy these days I was told by the thousands of jewelers I spoke with. Also in the restaurant we saw the real-life lookalike of Peter Griffin from "The Family Guy," and soon as I get the camera from the GF I'll load the photo I snuck of him. All told, very romantic, very nice, and an excellent omen of the life to come.
Xbox 360
What did the GF give me for the 1 year? An Xbox 360, that's what. We played with the game it came with, Project Gotham Racing 3. Not a bad game, and both it and the 360 in general cater to one of my more pervasive fetishes: the need to collect things. PGR3 has you racing and taking on "style maneuvers" to earn badges and trophies. The 360 keeps track of all the games you play, and in-game "achievements" which you can compare to other gamers online. So, yes, my poor brethren and sisteren, you'll be hearing about 360 nonsense from now on, ad nauseum.
Weight Watchers
Weigh in was today. Now, please recall that last weekend I was at a wedding, it was hard to track points, and there was all that wedding food, and no one around to eat the right foods with me and no one to remind me that I need to watch it. And please also recall that last night I ate a gigantic meal with an appetizer, main course, and a huge "accompaniment." Ready? Drum roll… I lost 1.2 pounds since last week. Score! Next week should be a bit better, as I am hoping to get into the gym (got TV shows DVDs from Netflix to help) and it'll be easier to track points. Also I don't plan on eating a entire bowl of Stagg Chili (38% of my daily allowance) or a 7-layer burrito (46% of my daily allowance). So good luck to me.
Allergies
You gotta understand me: I never had allergies as a kid, or young adult. At least I am not aware that I did. Maybe I did—there was always Kleenex handy, but I don't think I ever suffered. But over the last year or so, maybe two, I think I've been developing allergies. WTF? Wednesday night, just sitting there eating some popcorn and playing Chez Goth, they game on strong, with the stuffy nose and the really bad eye itching. And that's how it seems to go, random times during thr week, or month, and sometimes just wow out of nowhere at night. I'll do some research. Pollen count and dust and food allergies and histamine fatigue and space aliens and government conspiracies I'm sure will all play a part. Looks like it's a life of the Claritin and the eye-drops for me.
