Fair warning: this will be a dull post. I\u2019m just going to recap some of the writing I\u2019ve been doing over the last few weeks (Since June 1st).<\/p>\n
Here at Bukkhead: two short stories, three book reviews, six other pieces, one of which I also posted on the blogs<\/a> at Runner\u2019s World<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Over at Wiffli<\/a>: “Oops, Forgot a Title<\/a>,” “Screw You, BMI<\/a>,” “Anybody Else Seen Snooki\u2019s Boobs?<\/a>” and “Gwyneth Paltrow Used the N Word (With Asterisks)<\/a>.” (By the way, if you want to write something on Wiffli, just let me know.)<\/p>\n On AntiPundit<\/a>: “First Post in 2+ Years<\/a>,” and “Nothing Could Be Finer Than to Be in a Vagina<\/a>.” (You can post political opinion on AntiPundit too, if you want.)<\/p>\n Total: 17 bits, 10481 words. This doesn\u2019t cover a few longish e-mails to friends, or a blog post I made on the internal corporate website at work. Or, ha, this post.<\/p>\n Also, I ran 65 miles.<\/p>\n For the month of June, so far, it looks like the \u201cbad\u201d day was June 9th\u2014no running, and no writing at all. According to my paper journal<\/a>, I didn\u2019t do much\u2014I watched the Mariners lose, and I hung out with some friends at The Bottlehouse<\/a>. I think I mowed the lawn that day.<\/p>\n And all of this while suffering from Vestibular Neuritis<\/a>\u00a0(I am, this week, fully recovered). How? Why? I really do think it\u2019s this lack of idle web-browsing<\/a>. Granted, there was some Bejeweled Blitz<\/em> in there, some Diablo III<\/em>, some Hitman Absolution: Sniper Challenge<\/em>, and a lot of Draw Something<\/em>, Words with Friends<\/em>, Wordament<\/em>, and Plants Versus Zombies<\/em>. But still, I got a tell you, this web-browsing fast has really upped my productivity.<\/p>\n I could really use a nap, though.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Fair warning: this will be a dull post.
